Kid funnies

Whitney was eating an egg and did not like the way I prepared it - fried.  She told me, "I don't like yucky eggs.  I like pizza, but I don't like eggs.  I like french fries, but I don't like eggs. I like ice cream, but I don't like eggs."  I guess she doesn't like fried eggs.

Brookie was playing with Liam today and said, "Mom, Mom, Liam is blowing blueberries."  Yes, Liam is at the stage of blowing raspberries, although his are sometimes just a glob of spit that flows down his chin onto me somewhere, and screeching all the time - when he is happy and upset.  He is so much fun!  None of us can get enough of him.  Oh! And he is cutting his two bottom teeth.  I think they cut because he is much happier these days.  I'll have to post a picture when there is more than two clear lines!

Bottle feeding

I do miss breast feeding....A LOT, but who wouldn't want to stare at this five or six times a day for twenty minutes?

GONE!

Liam loves his blankie!  I think he would smother himself in it if he could.

Nice to meet you.

I want to eat you!

Blessing Day

Thursday, January 8, 2009

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

We flew to Utah and saw Adam's family and then had Liam's blessing for which my parents drove all the way from Arizona.  They drove us back to AZ and then we flew back from there.

Highlights:
Seeing most of our siblings and our parents
Saying good-bye to Adam's grandpa who passed away a week after we left and spending time with his grandmother, GG

Sarah's baby shower

Alison &  Jorgan's wedding and seeing many of Adam's cousins and aunts and uncles there

Presents including cousin/sibling exchange (Mikey gave me such a neat, thoughtful gift!)
Watching the cousins interact and have a blast together
Wii tennis tournament
Liam's beautiful blessing
The purple car my parents gave the kids
Andrew & Annie coming and doing gingerbread houses
Seeing lights and missionary performance at the Mesa temple
Going to Tombstone and taking an authentic carriage ride
Going to a ghost town and taking a train ride
Discovering Edamame - I am addicted!
70 degree weather and playing at the park every day
Target Christmas clearance with my Mom
Snowmen decorations in the rocks in Arizona, I think that is the funniest thing ever

More pics to come.  I am too tired to continue and this is very time-consuming tonight.
