Best Husband Ever

So, last night I found a tutorial on how to make a backdrop stand out of PVC pipe and mentioned to Adam that I would like to make one some day.  At  8:45 pm with me begging him not to and with strep throat, Adam went to Home Depot and got me stuff to make my back drop.  He made it in like 20 minutes and I tried it out today with just one type of fabric.  He and it are fabulous!!! In the one of Brooke, the backdrop looks a little sloppy, I just haven't figured out a good way to secure it yet.

The Battle of the Diaper

When Whitney offered to change Liam, I said SURE!  I am willing to let anyone change a diaper if it means I don't have to!  She was so proud of herself after she got it on! A few red marks on Liam and a crooked diaper later, he was all ready for bed.  I guess we'll see if he leaks tonight.

I think I am addicted.  I took so many today and then realized the evening light was perfect so I brought it out again.  Liam is the only subject that doesn't protest when I take pictures, so he is my most common victim.  He has started trying to pull himself up as you can see by him trying to climb the railing.

Lost Tooth

Brooke lost her first tooth on Mother's Day! (Yeah, I am a little behind.)  She was so full of emotion!  She went from freaking out to so happy to freaking out again.  She really had to force that smile.  After the "tooth fairy" left a dollar, she decided she wants to lose 5 at the same time so she can get $5.  Hmmm, maybe we should save some teeth for eating.

Whitney was born four years ago on Mother's Day.  Four years ago, it was May 8th and there will be pictures of her party to come, but here are some of her at home opening presents.  The best Mother's Day present ever!  And just for fun, she was blessed on Father's Day!

Happy Birthday Brookie!

Brooke turned six last week and she still has all of her teeth.  In the fourth picture, she is showing off the "wiggliest" of her six wiggly teeth to her friends.  Among her birthday presents was a new bike.  Her last one was 12'' and when we bought the new one, we thought her old one was 14'' so we bought an 18''.  It is a HUGE jump in size, but she is still nervous to try without training wheels.  This one will be just fine as long as she doesn't become brave enough to take off the training wheels this summer.  She gave her old bike to Whitney who was also so happy to have a new bike!  My parents came and we had so much fun with them.  They also helped so much with Brooke's party!  Yes, I made a really cheesy paper bag pinata, but six year olds don't care.  This is probably the last year I can get away with something like that.  Also, please pardon our neighbor's stuff in the background.
